The Bird Gardens of Naples

We enjoyed a wonderful tour at the Bird Gardens of Naples on Friday, May 3rd.  This nonprofit organizations’ sole concern is parrot welfare in captivity and conservation of wild parrots.  Did you know parrots are highly social, intelligent, complex animals whose lifespan can reach 100 years?  We learned all about them and even had the chance to feed them some nuts!  Afterwards, we stopped at Tropical Smoothie, for a tasty lunch.  Yum!
