The Arbor Trace and Tower Pointe residents gathered on New Years Eve to bid farewell to 2018 and welcome 2019. The Colonnade Room was all decked out in 2019 decorations featuring the traditional colors, gold, silver and back. Champagne bottles and streamers hung from the ceiling over the dance floor and large banners with the new year strung across the room. The tables were all scattered with festive party hats, necklaces, and noisemakers for the taking. Residents and their guests filled into the room excited to enjoy a wonderful meal, dancing and of course our annual ball drop. The buffet featured a variety of items including lobster turnovers, New York Strip, roast duck ,and poached salmon. The open bar featured an assortment of fine wine and all of the traditional spirits. As residents danced, ate, and socialized, the excitement for the new years ball drop elevated. The clock struck 8pm and it was time to celebrate! The Champagne bottles were popped, poured and delivered to every resident in attendance. As the residents counted down the ball dropped and a big “HAPPY NEW YEAR” rung out as friends and family cheered their champagne glasses! It was a wonderful way to celebrate health and happiness for the new year.
